The River

The river keeps calling me, I love it. I used to take the kids down to the Willamette river, where they could play in the sand and throw rocks into it’s currents. This river, the Umpqua, is so much better as the kids can play in it. The water is warm, clean and not too deep. This particular spot only a couple of miles from my house. These pictures were taken from my camera phone.

Where ever the pictures are taken, it’s very beautiful.

And it’s funny but Ada Lovelace is fairly unknown to many people.

Anyways, reagrding your post. That’s why you’ve got to weed out the good guys from the bad guys, and it’s hard, but you can do it. All you need is just a bit more effort and I’m sure you’ll meet that someone. Single parents have an even harder time, but that gives you a great opportunity to weed out the bad guys from the good guys.

Ada is my hero because she was one of the first pioneer of women to achieve her goals through distance education (and because she was so important to the development of future of distance education). I am working on my degree, from home, online, and it is the opportunity I never would have had if it were not for the computer (and internet). I have an overpowering devotion to my children, which means that I can not leave them in the care of somone else and work outside of the home (or got to school). It may change as they get older and more self sufficient,..but I believe their childhood is fleeting and it is important I make every day count.Online classes allow me to be mother and student. :) thanks for the encouragement.
