Rocks
I finished a few paintings over the past few days. It is hard
for me to set it aside and resume life as MOM taking care of four
kids. I can paint for hours as the chores stack up and the
laundry begins to reach higher and higher untill…..I resign
myself to waking from my creative trance and go back to domestic
maintenence.
The River
The river keeps calling me, I love it. I used to take the kids down to the Willamette river, where they could play in the sand and throw rocks into it’s currents. This river, the Umpqua, is so much better as the kids can play in it. The water is warm, clean and not too deep. This particular spot only a couple of miles from my house. These pictures were taken from my camera phone.
